Collaborating with Fintech, BNI Asset Management Funds Increase 41%

JAKARTA - PT BNI Asset Management (BNI-AM) recorded Growth in Funds Under Management (AUM) until the third quarter of this year reached Rp22.31 trillion. This amount has increased by Rp6.27 trillion or 41.01% from the end of last year, which was Rp.16.09 trillion.
This increase was due to an increase in the number of investment portfolios as well as the entry of new investors in institutions and retail. In addition, the collaboration between BNI-AM and several fintech companies as Mutual Fund Selling Agents (APERD) is also a factor in the increase in managed funds.
In terms of the number of investors, APERD fintech controls the largest portion, reaching 65%. One of them, namely with PT Bibit Grow Together or the investment application for mutual funds Bibit.
This robot-advisor technology-based application has managed to penetrate more than 15,000 new investors within 4 months since the start of the collaboration. This is what brought Bibit the award as 'The Most Outstanding Growth APERD'.
"We are very enthusiastic to be working with Bibit. We believe that the current stage for APERD fintech is in the form of increasing the number of investors, but in time it will have an impact on the exponential growth of AUM," explained President Director of BNI Asset Management Reita Farianti, Jakarta, Wednesday (11/13/2019).
One of the most popular mutual fund products is the BNI-AM IDX30 Index (BNI30). This Index Mutual Fund consists of 30 stocks with high trading liquidity and large capitalization.
