BNI Asset Management supports the OJK program Invite Millennials to Recognize Investment

Jakarta, 27 October 2018 – BNI Asset Management (BNI-AM) together with its parent PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) support activities to provide full support for the Financial Inclusion Month program from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) which initiated the launch of the SiMUDA product ( Youth and Student Savings) My Home and SiMUDA My Investment. BNI-AM participates to socialize Mutual Funds, especially for those who start investing from a young age.

In the Financial Institution (FinEXPO) & SunDown Run 2018 event as the culmination of Financial Inclusion Month in Jakarta, the SiMUDA RumahKu and SiMUDA InvestasiKu products were launched on Saturday (27 October 2018) in Jakarta. Present at the event were members of the OJK Board of Commissioners for Consumer Education and Protection, Tirta Segara, OJK Capital Market Supervisory Chief Executive Hoesen, Ex-Officio Chief Executive of the Ministry of Finance Mardiasmo, and BNI Retail Business Director Tambok P Setyawati as well as the board of OJK and participating banks.

"These programs and activities are expected to increase financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia for financial products and services as well as open financial access for the banking sector, capital market, insurance, financing, pawnshops, and pension funds," said Tirta Segara.

And Tambok said, through SiMUDA RumahKu, millennials can start investing in home purchases or renovations, education, and so on. Every month, BNI will make a debit from the customer's savings account with a flexible period of 1 to 18 years. BNI also offers competitive interest rates.

By having the SiMUDA RumahKu product, millennials also get additional value, namely insurance protection from BNI Life SIMUDA Saving Protection without a premium. Through this benefit, millennials will receive compensation for death or disability caused by an accident or not an accident. The maximum coverage for each insured is IDR 6 billion.

After having SIMUDA RumahKu, millennials can also start investing through SiMUDA InvestasiKu, which has full support from BNI Asset Management (BNI AM).
