BNI Asset Management AUM Funds Reach Rp22.29 Trillion

SEMARANG - BNI Asset Management (AUM) Asset Under Management (BNI-AM) recorded a growth of 38.53% during the year or exceeded Rp. 22.29 trillion as of August 30, 2019. This value increased compared to the end of 2018 which was Rp. 16, 09 trillion.

BNI-AM Director Putut Endro Andanawarih said, BNI AM does not have a specific target number (AUM) until the end of 2019 but is expected to exceed the performance of the mutual fund industry.

He said, based on OJK (Financial Services Authority) data as of the second week of August 2019, the total managed mutual funds from all Investment Managers (MI) was IDR 540.72 trillion. "That figure increased 6.99% from the end of last year of Rp505.39 trillion," said Putut in a conversation with reporters in Semarang, Tuesday (10/9/2019). "So, the total funds managed by BNI-AM are currently far superior to the overall performance of the industry," he added.

Putut detailed, for the composition of product types with a total AUM of IDR 22.29 trillion, protected mutual funds contributed 55.23%, equity and mixed mutual funds 16.41%, fixed income mutual funds 14.87%, money market mutual funds 8, 66%, Fund Management Contracts (KPD) and Limited Participation Mutual Funds (RDPT) 4.82%.

"Today's flagship stock mutual fund products are the BNI-AM Inspiring Equity Fund with a yield of 8.05% in 1 year as of September 9, 2019, and the BNI-AM Nusantara ETF MSCI Indonesia (1-year return 9.59%) and BNI-AM IDX30 index (1-year return 7.84%), he said.

He added that BNI-AM's mainstay for money market products is BNI-AM Dana Likuid with a 6.11% return in the last year. So that the total managed fund in the product is around Rp. 2 trillion. "This is one of our mainstay products because it often wins awards," he said.
