Strengthening the Capital Market Ecosystem, BNI Asset Management Partners with Bank Jateng

JAKARTA, investortrust.id – PT BNI Asset Management (BNI AM) has officially established a strategic partnership in the capital markets sector with PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Tengah (Bank Jateng). This collaboration includes the development of custodian banking services, securities transactions, and investment portfolio management for institutional and retail customers.

This collaboration marks an important milestone for Bank Jateng in strengthening its role in the regional and national investment ecosystem. Furthermore, this partnership demonstrates BNI AM's confidence in Bank Jateng's capabilities in providing secure, transparent custodial services in accordance with Indonesian capital market regulations.

"The custodial services we are developing include mutual fund asset storage, transaction recording, and accurate reporting in accordance with OJK regulations," said Bank Jateng's Finance Director, Ristiani Saptuti.

Furthermore, Bank Jateng is also committed to supporting increased financial literacy and inclusion in Central Java through access to capital market products and credible investment management. With the support of adequate infrastructure and financial technology, this collaboration is expected to encourage the public to invest intelligently and safely.

BNI Asset Management President Director Ari Adil stated that this collaboration aligns with the company's expansion strategy to strengthen its mutual fund distribution network and expand synergies with regional financial institutions.

"This collaboration is a breath of fresh air for Bank Jateng to expand its services as a custodian bank while strengthening its role in the capital market ecosystem," Ari said in an official statement received by investortrust.id, Monday (July 28, 2025).

He added that this collaboration is expected to encourage sustainable mutual fund growth and provide added value for institutional and retail investors in the region.

Meanwhile, Ristiani assessed that the Indonesian capital market has demonstrated good resilience amidst global uncertainty. This is reflected in the increasing number of listed securities and the growing number of investors in stocks, bonds, and mutual funds. "Bank Jateng is optimistic that custodian managed funds (AUC) will continue to grow in 2025 in line with its strategy to strengthen its treasury business and capital market services," she added.

This collaboration also strengthens the mutual fund's operational structure, from sales and asset custody to liquidity optimization through money market and capital market instruments.

The signing of the cooperation agreement between Bank Jateng and BNI AM is expected to accelerate the growth of the regional investment ecosystem and serve as a catalyst for strengthening regional banking capabilities in the national capital market industry.
